La sintaxis refiere al orden apropiado y correcto para generar sentido, concordancia y significado en las oraciones. La sintaxis refiere a una propiedad lingüística significativa respecto a unidades e ítems léxicos y gramaticales, orden oracional y fraseológico, semántica y concordancia, entre los principales aspectos. Un apropiado conocimiento sintáctico nos permite combinar palabras y unidades lexicales para generar oraciones con un significado comprensible. La sintaxis en tanto parte gramatical es fundamental para una correcta expresión verbal, aunque es mucho más evidente la falta y carencia sintáctica en la lengua escrita y los elementos grafemáticos lingüísticos, que en la lengua oral.
